Het Berlage Lyceum is voor het schooljaar 2023-2024 op zoek naar een enthousiaste:

Docent wiskunde eerstegraads (0,8 - 1,0 fte)
Het betreft een tijdelijke aanstelling met uitzicht op een vast dienstverband bij gebleken geschiktheid en voldoende formatie.

Wat ga je doen?

• Lesgeven aan havo- en vwo-leerlingen, met name in de voor examen- en examenklassen;
• Binnen de sectie het wiskundeonderwijs verder ontwikkelen en versterken tot een uitdagend programma waar leerlingen enthousiast en gemotiveerd aan werken;
• Door het geven van rijke feedback leerlingen verder helpen in hun ontwikkeling;
• Samenwerken met collega's aan de ontwikkeling van je vak en je afdeling;
• Er zorg voor dragen dat in jouw lessen internationalisering en Unesco-thema's een prominente plek hebben;
• Met hart en ziel onze leerlingen opleiden tot actieve wereldburgers.

Wij zoeken iemand die pedagogisch en didactisch bekwaam is en die het onderwijs én zichzelf wil blijven ontwikkelen.

• Door je open communicatie weet je leerlingen en collega's in beweging te brengen.
• Je bent in staat onze leerlingen voor te bereiden op hun stap naar de wereld van morgen;
• Je bent in staat in het Engels les te geven in de onderbouw .
• Je hebt je bekwaamd in didactisch coachen of bent bereid je daarin te scholen.

Wie zijn wij?
Het Berlage Lyceum is een Amsterdamse school voor mavo-, havo-, atheneum- en gymnasium onderwijs. In een bruisende en open omgeving, die de diversiteit van de Amsterdamse bevolking vertegenwoordigt, bieden we aan ruim 1100 leerlingen tweetalig onderwijs. We werken vanuit de kernwaarden (zelf-) vertrouwen, waarmaken wat je belangrijk vindt en verantwoordelijkheid nemen. Docent Zorg en Welzijn (Z&W)
Max. 4.573,- | 0,6 - 1,0 fte | Amsterdam

Als docent Z&W heb je de verantwoordelijkheid voor de prestaties van de leerlingen in je vakgebied. Met jouw kennis en ervaring inspireer, motiveer, coach en begeleid je onze leerlingen. Je haalt het beste in leerlingen naar boven. Je maakt deel uit van een team van enthousiaste docenten en werkt samen aan de innovatie van het onderwijs.

Werkzaamheden
Het geven van profielvakken en keuzevakken binnen het Z&W-profiel op het VMBO. Je geeft samen met de Z&W-collega's vmbo en Praktijkonderwijs vorm aan uitdagend onderwijs dat aansluit bij het beroepsveld en vervolgopleidingen. Je werkt handelingsgericht rondom de leerling en klas. Je bent naast docent ook mentor of co-mentor.

Functie-eisen
Heb je de lesbevoegdheid Z&W (of volg je hiervoor de opleiding) en daag je onze leerlingen graag uit zichzelf te overstijgen? Werk je graag 'op maat' met leerlingen en kun je bovenbouwleerlingen naar hun vmbo-examen begeleiden? Kun je goed omgaan met leerlingen uit andere culturen en leerlingen die de Nederlandse taal nog aan het leren zijn en vind je het leuk om een relatie met hen op te bouwen? Dan is deze functie iets voor jou!

Ons aanbod
Mundus College biedt in eerste instantie een aanstelling aan van 0,6 - 1,0 fte voor schooljaar 2023-2024. Bij gebleken geschiktheid en wederzijdse tevredenheid bestaat kans op een contract voor onbepaalde tijd. Het bruto maandsalaris ligt tussen € 3.001,- en € 4.573,- (LB-schaal) bij een functieomvang van 100%. Daarnaast kun je rekenen op een eindejaarsuitkering (8,33%) en vakantie-uitkering (8%). Je komt in aanmerking voor een arbeidsmarkttoelage, die elk schooljaar wordt vastgesteld. Dit schooljaar is deze toelage 6%.

Naast de reguliere (school)vakanties, heb je recht op 90 uur keuzebudget bij een fulltime aanstelling en is er uiteraard voldoende gelegenheid voor scholing en opleiding. Ook kan je gebruikmaken van diverse fiscaal vriendelijke regelingen.

Het Mundus College
Het Mundus college is een school in Nieuw West die zich onderscheidt in haar diversiteit en ambitieuze onderwijsprogramma's. In een buurt waar kansengelijkheid niet vanzelfsprekend is proberen wij het onderwijsaanbod op een zo goed mogelijke manier vorm te geven. Zo lopen wij voorop bij het aanbieden van persoonsvorming en socialisatie (P&S) vanaf het 1e leerjaar, in een doorlopende leerlijn. Talentontwikkeling is naast de lessen P&S een onderdeel van het ontdekken wie jij bent en waar je talenten liggen. In het Mundus & More programma aan het einde van de lesdag kunnen leerlingen deze talenten verder onderzoeken in/tijdens diverse workshops. Het Mundus College is onderdeel van Esprit Scholen en is gevestigd aan de Burgemeester Hogguerstraat 2 in Amsterdam.

Als collega binnen een docententeam dat samen lesgeeft aan een groep leerlingen vorm je een Community of Practise (CoP) en heb je voor iedere groep, minimaal 6wekelijks een overleg waarbij gekeken wordt hoe de leerlingen ervoor staan op didactisch en sociaal-emotioneel gebied. Hier worden gezamenlijke afspraken gemaakt over de onderwijsbehoeften van leerlingen. Deze CoP wordt geleid door de mentor, die een belangrijke spil is in de ondersteuning van onze leerlingen. Wij hanteren het principe dat iedere docent ook mentor is.
