Project Administration Officer

As a Project Administration Officer, you will take responsibility for the project reports for the various work-in-progress projects within production. You will support the Planning and Control Manager, the various Production Managers and the Production Team Lead in setting up and elaborating project reports, and act as the link between line and project management.

You proactively collate planning information, budgets, forecasts, risks, opportunities and points of interest for multiple projects. You will then present the collected information in a clear and concise way in a professional project report. In addition, you will be able to critically evaluate these project reports and explain the main issues in order to create a standard document.

You will report on a broad scope of activities for multiple projects and correctly interpret and prepare budgets. You have sufficient knowledge of the process of building technically high-quality products (a technical or organisational background is therefore an advantage). You will also be able to communicate clearly between all layers in the organisation, from management to the shop floor.

As a Project Administration Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

  • successfully setting up and maintaining project reports from multiple projects
  • preparing forecasts and reports with regard to progress, costs, risks and opportunities
  • providing production and project management with reliable management information
  • preparing KPI dashboards.

Lead Engineer Mechanical Engineering

As Lead Engineer Mechanical Engineering at the Asset Upgrade cluster of IHC Services, you will design and engineer maritime machinery and equipment. This includes conducting feasibility studies, as well as the engineering of modifications, renovations and improvements. Asset Upgrade helps customers to make adaptations and upgrades to assets (such as integrated equipment, systems and structures) from engineering deliverables up to and including commissioning solutions. With your engineering, creativity and leadership skills, you will ensure that all engineering-related deliverables are issued according to the specifications and within the agreed project budget and schedule. Within the role of Lead Engineer Mechanical Engineering, your duties will include:

  • supporting the proposal or concept phase of tenders
  • assisting with defining the project approach, concept selection and the scope of the work
  • monitoring and coordinating work to ensure that the quality and completeness of the engineering deliverables are in compliance with project requirements and company standards
  • sharing technical information and expertise with all team members within the project
  • supporting and helping colleagues, delivering input for progress reporting, costing and project planning
  • taking responsibility for generating concepts, and the basic and detailed designs for various equipment and machinery
  • performing the necessary strength and fatigue analyses and studies, including completing the accompanying reports and specifications
  • translating product standards and requirements into technical specifications
