Technical Application Manager

Our client is a Payment Service Provider who collects processes and reports payments on behalf of other companies. They specialize in a wide range of industries like travel, ticketing, telecommunications, retail, publishing, portals, online games, and digital content.

The Position
As technical application manager (TAM) you will be responsible for the availability and performance of their client's 24/7 internet payment platform.

You will be working in a group of technical application managers (TAM-group). This group is the central contact point for problems related to the application. You will be keeping track of changes and bugs within the system using their call system. The Tam group is also responsible for applying releases, changes and updates to the system where they are required.

The Requirements

Technical Skills:

Sound knowledge and experience in at least 3 of the following areas of

• Sun Solaris and Linux OS
• Unix scripting
• Sun-one application server
• relational databases (preferably Oracle)

experience in the following areas is beneficial

• Java/ jsp
• ITIL
• PL*SQL
• SQL
• Performance tuning

Personal Skills

• strong communicator both verbally and in written English, preferably also Dutch.
