Senior Front-end Engineer, Ajax, Professional Services

We are looking for Senior Front-end Eningeers to support our client's current Professional Services team. As a Senior Frontend Eningeer you will be working with a leading and innovative web 2.0 company which specializes in Customer Experience 2.0 software and services based on RIA and Ajax technology. Our client works for companies like ABN AMRO, KPN, ING, Philips, Visa, AIG, EMC, Vanguard and IBM. Because of the growing number of projects with our customers the need for Senior Front-end Eningeers is eminent. Therefore our client is looking for experienced Senior Front-end Eningeers for the Professional Services department in Amsterdam.

Professional Services team
The PS department in Amsterdam consists of 2 teams:
-UX Design Team
-UX Engineering Team

As a Senior Frontend Engineer you are a part of the UX Engineering Team and you will report to the Technical Director.

The goal
Working as a Senior Front-end engineer you will collaborate with strategic clients in the design, development and evolution of mission critical web applications. Senior Front-end Engineers do a wide variety of work including Ajax training and best practices consulting, design, application development, and performance tuning

Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this challenging position will fit the following profile:

-Minimum of 2-5 years experience as a Front-end Engineer.
-An expert on the required skills; HMTL, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, XML, XSLT, XPath, and Java.
-Possesses good software architecture skills.
-Experience with systems and component integration, performance tuning, reusability and maintainability of Ajax software.
-Experience in delivering Proof-of-Concepts.
-Able to present your Ideas.
-Constantly develop your own ideas.
-Able to coach junior colleagues and guide customers.
-Experience with dealing with corporate architects, lead developers and project managers.
-You possess excellent communicative skills in English; Dutch is a great advantage.
-Customer focused
