SAP Test Manager

Educational level: HBO / University level

Job purpose
As part of the integration program Finance, the SAP test manager will coordinate the test activities for the SAP projects (SAP Workflow, Purchase IT resources).
Ensure the successful execution of the test plan with strong focus on managing deadlines, dependencies and resourcing requirements.
Provide guidance to the testing resources with the development of test scripts, testing templates and procedures.
Maintain overall quality of the entire test process and outcome.
Submit progress reports to the SAP project manager.

Deliverables
- Creation and review of testing plans and testing scripts
- Acquisition and co-ordination of testing environments
- Review system test (ST) together with delivery team
- Manage execution of all testing cycles: FAT, BAT, PPT
- Sign off all test levels and create test advice report
- Maintenance and administration of test cases and test defects within Quality Centre
- Progress Reporting

Experience
- At least 3-5 years experience in an test management capacity
- Experience in design, planning, executing and reporting of testing activities with key users, technical support & functional support (3-5 years)
- Experience with Risk & Requirement Based Testing (RRBT)
- (SAP) project management experience
- Experience in testing in the banking and or financial services sectors
- Experience in setting up testing processes (at least 3-5 years)
- Experience in testing of SAP modules (SAP FiCo, SAP BW)
- Experience with Test tooling (i.e. Quality Center)
- Knowledge of SAP FiCo/ BW and interfacing
- Knowledge of the finance processes Cost Accounting and Purchase2Pay would be a considerable advantage

IT Skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Lotus Notes and Project planning
- Knowledge of test tools (Quality Center) and applications relevant to the job
- Knowledge of Test methods
