Job description
As a Java developer you breakdown and migrate the existing functionality into pluggableweb components. You design and create web application front-end in accordance with internal guidelines and customer requirements. You make use of best practices on web component based development and rich internet application technology. You advise in further establishing and rolling out best practices and guidelines for efficient Front End Web development based on previous experiences. After successfully finalising the acceptance testing, you transfer the knowledge of the component software to the relevant Support & Maintenance application team. You also work together with specific application domain teams for training and coaching purposes and for sharing knowledge.
Working Environment
You will be working in a dynamic team within the Operations and IT banking environment. Team consists of about 100 colleagues and are responsible for the Front-End Design of credit risk applications. You will be part of the web component factory development team. The environment is challenging and international and the lines of communication are short.

You are always up to date with the latest developments in your field of work. You are an excellent sparring partner for the client and your team members. You are convincing with your knowledge and attitude. You have a thorough knowledge of working in a complex IT environment. You take initiative and are a problemsolver.
Personal profile:
-A bachelor-degree preferably a vocational IT graduate (IT-related);
-Good knowledge of the English language.
Must-have: Java/j2ee, Javascript (IE), HTML / XHTML, CSS2/3 stylesheets and standards, Rich-client interface (AJAX)
Nice-to-have(s): Front end design work & tooling, DOJO framework, JSON / XML, JSP, Struts2
